Aus dem weiten Feld der Körperkunst hebt sich seit den 60er-Jahren ein schmaler, aber in seinen extremistischen Ausprägungen umso spektakulärerer Seitenpfad ab, der die Theorie vom Körper als Hauptschauplatz der gesellschaftlichen Auseinandersetzungen beim Wort nimmt. Der zum Objekt normativer Grenzziehungen wie Ästhetik, Moral und Politik degradierte Körper wird gegen seine Reglementierungen gewendet und ist nicht nur Ursprung, sondern auch Mittel des Widerspruchs. Dabei bedient man sich, bewusst oder unbewusst, einer Methode des Philosophierens, die schon einmal den Körper als subversives Argument gegen die herrschenden Diskurse sprechen ließ.

Body and Space are the subjects of my work. During the last years, I've started a series of investigations between these two subjects combined one to another and interpreted them in different areas: In architecture I created spaces inspired and directed to a specific use and user. In art, I reinterpreted rituals of subculture and sideshows in order to analyze how bodies – more specifically my own body – perceive and get perceived.

Officials from the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed the arrival in Vienna of the body of an Israeli pilot killed in Lebanon. The body was subsequently reunited with the pilot's family.
