The Lady who needed to move

Once upon a time in a far far future, lived Her-Name-Is-Not-Important Lady. It is enough to say that she was not locked away in any tower. But even if everybody thought she had everything she ever needed, actually she had nothing she really wanted. Coming into her thirties, she was bored.

Every morning, or maybe every evening, to escape from existing fiction of her everyday life she used to dive into the reality of her imagination. Less pathetically: she was a dreamer. And she dreamed about becoming someone important … to be listened to, and to be respected … And to be loved and be loving.

Anyway, one day, she decided to fight for those matters.

She began her preparation.

A costume seemed to be a good thing to start with. Leather was quite fashionable at that time. Not to mention that it had an extra value: it meant protection. And, one can easily understand, she wanted to look good. You look good, you feel good, right? A motorbike overall found in her vast cupboard fit her perfectly. On top it added a romantic, and sexy at the same time, touch of freedom …

… Moving, moving fast … Widely cutting the unknown, virgin land … Riding a 300 horses engine … 280 km/h… Her open long blond hair flying in the air …

There was a little problem though (besides that her hair were far from being blond): she didn't have a motorbike, nor a driving license. She only knew how to ride a horse (but who doesn't!). Sadly she realized that in the virtual world it is not necessarily the most useful skill. It made her think of a friend, Dame Lecavalier, who on the contrary learned a noble art, boxing, but never had a wish of using it in any fight.

Let's come back to the story of our heroine. The Lady thought that actually it would be a much better idea to become a horse herself. With all the robotics inventions it is not too much to ask for. Definitely not too difficult to imagine. Two in one: the body that moves and the brain that not only follows, but is immediately here, right at the spot, a perfect melt … She thought in that very moment that actually she didn't need any 'body' but was not so sure how to get rid of it. Everything would be so much easier … But that issue she decided to solve later, choosing to rely on her brain's locomotion, hoping that the body, indeed a bit stuck in the leather armor, would follow. Gracefully or not. She needed to move! She needed an adventure!

… But first she needed to become a Dame …

The Lady concentrated her thoughts hard, pushed a button and found herself in front of the beautiful gardens of the castle of the famous Le Roy, the King. It was actually a memory of Sir Simon Rattle that brought her there. She knew that this old friend of hers was asked to teach the King how to make music. In such noble company she would surely become a Dame. And indeed, the moment she approached the castle (the beautiful tune of Le Sacre du Printemps spread through the air), she started to feel the first changes. She found herself braver, more noble, somehow special and definitely wiser. She arrived at a perfect moment: the great concert with the King in the role of conductor himself had already begun!

She was thrilled, she was excited, she was impatient.

She was getting closer and closer to the first row and …

Shocking!

The King was using playback!
